We are deeply concerned by the attacks on communities in Minnesota, New Jersey and New York over the weekend.  The investigations into these incidents are still underway, and we still do not know all the facts.  Muslim Advocates urges law enforcement to conduct full and exhaustive investigations and urges the swift arrest of the perpetrators of these heinous attacks.

This has been a challenging time with violent attacks on Americans in recent days and weeks.  American Muslims like all Americans care deeply about the safety and security of our communities.  An attack on one American is an attack on us all.

More than ever, this is a time when we need our political leaders to bring us together, not divide us through hateful rhetoric and fear-mongering.  Muslim Advocates urges vigilance, unity and adherence to our nation’s values to ensure the safety of all Americans.
